Canada is not going to get a warm welcome in the new administration. They spend nothing on defense or contribute anything to NATO. It's a parasitic country that depends on the US umbrella. They have very questionable immigration policies, accepting thousands of very problematic people, which makes border enforcement more difficult. And this administration regards NAFTA as a scam with Canada taking American jobs. And for what? A marginal gain in market access for American companies.

Canada is going to have a hard time with the new administration. And deservedly so. Their defense spending in particular and lack of contributions to NATO are pathetic. Their immigration policies are dangerous. And, presumably, working class jobs will be a priority for the Trump administration. Clinton's NAFTA was good for Wall Street but did not do wonders for workers.

Good for the incoming Trump administration for highlighting Canada's BS.

Honestly, I hope Trump does the thing and annexes Canada into the US.

They are a little wacky, but there is a lot of gas, forests, and other resources, and the fact they aren’t “American” means we should be able to just plow through it and not care what the radical environmentalists think.
