| Traditional Thanksgiving meal is planned. The vegetarians are unfussy and would make a plate of greens and maybe mashed potatoes. But I'd like to make one more dish that's more of a main for them. |
| Any vegetarian dish |
well that's the current green beans and Brussel sprouts |
| Potato gratin. |

Love this and super easy. But, I cut up the mushroom as it cooks better.

There was a great recent thread in this forum where people made their perfect Thanksgiving plate. Many were listing plates with no or little turkey, and lots of sides. I'd look there for inspiration!

| PP back to say make sure you also have a vegetarian gravy option. Lots of good mushrooms ones out there. |
| We are doing delicata squash stuffed with wild rice, lentils, pecans, and cranberries. We are also making Mac and cheese. |
| Do they like mushrooms? If so, lots of options. I feel like everyone always assumes that vegetarians like mushrooms but I'm sure not all vegetarians do indeed like mushrooms. What about eggplant? |
| Mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese |
I meant a main vegetarian dish with protein. |
| We have mac and cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes, roasted brussell sprouts, string beans with almonds, rolls. |
| Mac & cheese seems like the obvious choice because it is a main and has protein. |
| Don’t worry about protein for thanksgiving. The sides are the delicious part! Just make sure there are plenty of vegetarian sides. For example, I love stuffing, but I can’t eat it if it has sausage in it. |
I do not understand the suggestion of Mac and cheese as upping the game for a vegetarian main served to adults |
