I am beyond bad at picking colors online, and ALWAYS get it wrong. I am a very casual dresser and generally use my Trader Joe's canvas tote as a purse. I'd like to take a baby step up from that. I wear a lot of greens, blues, blacks, greys - t-shirts and jeans with sneakers. So I think ?? any of these will go with my stuff. But I'm always wrong. Please pick for me. |

Yellow will be a nice pop with the colors you wear. I like the look a lot, too.
Black is classic and will serve as a nice neutral. But I like the idea of a pop of yellow. |
| I also like the yellow. I would probably go with black, but I wear a lot of black. I also like the navy a lot. |

For something like this, there's no wrong answer, so I would get the one that first caught your eye. That's usually the one you like best.
The one you are most attracted to is the right choice. |
| I like the marine blue |
| Cute bag, OP! |

I'm more interested in why you think you end up with the wrong colors?! Did someone tell you that or did you look at yourself in the mirror and just decide? "I'm always wrong" screams depression and insecurity. No matter how you dress, you'll think it's not right. Maybe you want to reframe your thinking, not your colors.
Navy is usually perceived as elegant and understated year-round. The mustard yellow would be a nice focus point for your outfits. I don't particulary like the other colors, but if YOU like one in particular, go for it. |
| I like the mariner blue, olive or black but they are all fine. If you want it to work year round, I’d probably go with the blue. |
| I saw this bag in person yesterday. It’s cute. I did not like it in navy. Olive and gingerbread are both good. |

The last photo shows a woman in a blue sweater and blue jeans carrying a blue bag.
You say you wear a lot of blues/greens/greys. So...if you like the more monochrome look of that last image you'll want to go with a blue/black/green. If your instinct is that the last photo needs a little somethin' somethin', a bit of zhuzh, go with the yellow. It's a great bag, though. You won't go wrong. |
I have a visual perception learning disability and am very bad at understanding what I see. I have to tell the nail lady at the salon what color I want (dark purple, almost black, matte) and then let her find it for me, otherwise I will pick the wrong purple and not realize I dislike it until I have walked out. If I buy shoes online it'll only be once I get them delivered that I'll say "Oh I didn't realize they were like THIS". This isn't a psychological, self-esteem issue. |

I agree with the mustard yellow if you want a “pop”, and navy if you want it more subtle and versatile.
I should start a separate thread on this, but I’m always amazed at how many people use tote bags as a purse/handbag- I love the look but feel like I am constantly hunting through it for my wallet, glasses, whatever I need. |
| Get the olive. It will look good when you wear black or blue. |
| The green. Or the yellow for a little more contrast and excitement. |
Thanks for explaining. Is this associated with dyslexia? Also, if you see a color one way in the store, how come you see it differently at home? |
