What a charade. Can’t wait to see the legislation that would create this fake department and the filibuster that will try and derail it.

Yes, he created the acronym. He is also talking about reducing government spending by 2 trillion, which is incredibly unrealistic. That would involve eliminating the entire discretionary budget. Only Medicare and social security, and interest on debt would be left. This means there would be no DOD, HHS, DOE, DHS or anything else. All governments functions would be eliminated basically. Yes government spending needs to go down, but Medicare and social security will need to be cut if you want to come anywhere close to balancing the budget. It is impossible do it only by cutting discretionary spending. |
