I, for one, am tired of the divisive rhetoric and negativity of the past few months on media (of all types).
Let’s now put all that behind us and work together, as one nation, to make America a better place; a place our children and grandchildren will be even more proud to call home. Who’s with me? |

I think this is work best done at the local level. Realistically the federal government has much less impact on our day-to-day than our local governments and other community organizations.
Want to do better? Get off social media and invest in your community. Do something that's hard work. Be kind to someone you don't like - a real person you have to deal with face-to-face not a name on a screen. |

Sure, I just can't see trump being a uniter. Hard to love thy neighbor as they try to strip you of your rights.
I do miss they days when there wasn't such a stark difference between D and R. Or maybe there was and I was just young enough not to care. |
It doesn't matter. Our politicians refuse to work together. |
I have always tried to be kind to anyone, regardless of their political affiliation. But if they say false or cruel things I do call them out. |
Not me. I am a federal employee and our next president threaten my livelihood.
Must be lovely to be so unaffected by the likely events to come. |
Exactly. Fck the MAGAs. |
Agree completely; you put it well. I am the OP. |
No thanks.
I will rage, rage against the dying of the light. |
OP, as soon as you and other Dems apologize to people like me who enthusiastically supported Trump (volunteered for him) for calling us Nazis, garbage and other choice words, we can talk about moving forward.
But keep in mind: the mandate is clear. Trump won the popular vote. "Unity" will not be defined as consensus governing to accommodate radical Dem policies. |
