Why is it so hard

to eat right all the time? I go in phases, same with exercise. I am now 145 and 5'2 so could lose 20-25 to look my best and feel my best. I look so attractive when thinner and just matronly right now. I know this, I have a lot of willpower in my life generally, am a very organized person, but I can't seem to make this happen.

Do you have a food tracker? Can you try something like Noom or a class via LoseIt or MFP?

I've done that many times but I can never seem to stick to it. I fall off when I get stressed out.

Maybe find a way to deal with your stress. Sounds like you just aren't ready or committed to it. You can also get a fitness watch and do challenges with friends.

I'm with you. I excel in most area of life - work, home - but I can't control myself in the eating department. I mean, I do control enough to stay relatively slim (5'7 140 lbs) but I eat a ton of crap. Like today I had a giant bag of kettle corn for lunch. I wish I could take Ozempic or something to stop my food noise - to treat food as only fuel and select healthy things to nourish my body. I am eating chocolate chip cookies as I type this. I hate it. I am a well educated, successful woman and I am totally effed up about food.
