What team are you and what winter championship meet is your group attending?

Looking at the schedule they seem to mostly overlap, which meet is your team/group attending?

NCAP. The swimmers with cut times will go to NCI December 12-15, the ones without cut times will go to Turkey Claus December 5-8. Some swimmers will swim 1/2 of a meet at NCI and 1/2 of a meet at Turkey Claus.

You can probably look at the winter champs meets from last year and see which PVS teams attended which. I don't think it changes wildly year over year. I think the most common are NCI and SF Winter Classic. People will waste no time jumping in to proclaim that NCI is the more competitive winter champs meet; we know. There may be other winter champs meets I'm missing.
Within teams, typically some swimmers will attend a slower, "open" meet that month and selected/qualifying swimmers will attend a "champs" meet.

AAC went to Turkey Claus last year WHICH was awesome. Great pool, great meet. But it is not on the schedule for this year - which is a bummer.

I remember looking up the times of the swimmer and was blown away. In all seriousness, where do these swimmer swim (what meets) the rest of the season. They are FAST.

Some of them are NCAPs fast swimmers, so they are at any number of local meets during the year. Others are with different clubs, generally in the northeast, that get invited to NCI. The open events last year also drew some older swimmers prepping for Olympic trials (Kieran Smith was there).

Sorry, I meant that for some reason AAC it not attending. And that stinks. It was a great meet and was hoping to keep it.

That is a bummer! My kids look forward to that meet every year. The chance to have a walk out song if you're seeded first for finals is a nice motivator.

Machine - Turkey Claus (where my kids will swim) and NCI.

Ditto. Turkey Claus and NCI.

RMSC- Holiday invitational in Germantown. NCI is very fast- I heard once it is the fastest club meet in the country. Many out-of-town clubs attend.

Now that would be a fun fact. How would you be able to check that?

The cut times are a bit slower than PVS JOs so not faster by that standard. But I bet the winning time in most events is faster.
