There really aren't many private schools that offer great academics, top D1 sports, and good school vibes. But generally, schools to consider would be:

Vanderbilt
Notre Dame
Stanford
Northwestern
USC
Boston College
Wake Forest

Academically can’t do wake? Lol. Your child has a very slim chance of vandy or duke. He needs to get over himself. Gl.

Please provide info - what does your DC want to study? Going to a state school within the Honors college might be a path go get the experience they want.
BUT if appears that prestige is really important and there are just a handful of schools from the rankings that will make them feel validated.
