Exactly. Naomi is so wrong. Kate was not her same look, so was not her competition. Therefore she was able to play nice with those who she did not view as threatening to her look. As many of the top models of colour have even stated 'there was room for one black model per show'.[/quote]

Stop. Her job was to model, and by doing so as herself, she opened a bunch of doors and cleared a path for others to follow. Acting like she owes you a humanitarian medal-worthy existence on top is putting more unpaid labor on a Black woman. It wasn't her job to lift others according to your standards and where you could see it (you can't prove she didn't), nor was it her job to be a perfect human being, which you are also not.

You can't do any better as a DCUM-visiting troll, and you expect a stranger to do what you can't under circumstance and pressure that would break your whiny betchass and without support/family/financial resources (until she was a much bigger star)? Absolutely fscking unreasonable.
