URMs with good SAT score and high GPA are being noticed by Northwestern.

I don't know if this changed at all this year, but I've noticed that it tends to be a school that attracts UMC AAs from our area.

Northwestern's steady rise has been interesting to watch. They definitely attract some top candidates across the board. These are impressive numbers.

And they've managed to accomplish it without nearly the same amount of flashy tactics, metric-gaming, and number-fudging that its peers — including its Southside rival, UChicago — frequently engage in.

Northwestern has always been considered a T10 school. They don't get the love that other schools do because they're in the midwest.
