Metro is cracking down on EATING on the Metro

unpopular opinion, I eat when I am on the train, today the officer told me to stop eating and I dont know why they don't crack down on vaping on smoking, but they just choice to crack down on eating its dumb. Crack down on people jumping the new gates...

Excellent news! When they used to enforce the no drinking and no eating rule, Metro was so much cleaner and nicer. Glad to hear it.

Just because they aren’t enforcing some other things doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be enforcing the eating rule.

Totally in favor of enforcing this. Food waste attracts vermin and seats/floors that are covered in crumbs and grease and stains are disgusting. There is no need to be constantly snacking and unable to wait until you get out of the station.

Eating has always been banned on the metro and it should be.

If you can't get thru a 10-40 minute metro ride without eating, you have issues

We got on Metro last weekend and there was a big software drink spilled and running half way down the floor of the entire car. It was a sticky mess. There is a reason for no food and drink.
