| We currently have a 12yr old GE Profile induction cooktop (30 in). We need to replace it. Considering going with another GE, but also looking at Bosch 800 series or Kitchenaid. If you love your induction cooktop, please post the brand you have and any features that you particularly like about it. TIA! |
| We recently remodeled and have a Bosch 800 series induction cooktop. We are very happy with it. |
| We have the GE Cafe Double Oven range and can't say enough great things about it. Will never go back to gas or regular electric. |
Not OP, but this is good to hear as we have been looking at the GE Cafe induction double oven. |
I too have this, just installed this summer. Love it. |
| Another vote for GE cafe double oven. Got it from Costco so great warranty and deal on installation. Also it replaced other countertop appliances that we barely had room for in small kitchen (it has an air fryer feature). Heats up super quick, can’t believe I waited so long to get it. |
Do you remember how much cheaper it was at Costco? I'm thinking about renewing membership to get the stove and a few other items, but only members can see the price. |
PP from 18:30 here. I actually found it at Home Depot for the same price as Costco was selling it at the time, with delivery like an entire month earlier than Costco could do. So check sales at other stores for sure! |
| We went from a GE Profile induction range to a 36" GE Monogram cooktop when we renovated. Price point was good and I feel like they have excellent reliability. The prior one was trouble-free for many years. |
|
We splurged and got a 36 in Thermador freedom induction and I have it. You set a pan down anywhere on the range and it sense it, so you don’t have to worry about zones.
I ordered it in gray which blends in with my countertops better than black does. |
$3899 right now at Costco including $200 member discount until 9/11. |

Question for you induction cooktop users.
I've only had induction once at an apartment I rented for a year. It had previously been used by another tenant. The surface was scratched up. I think I accidentally added a few more scratches by moving pots and pans over particles of salt. Is this normal? Do you have to be THAT careful with it to avoid scratching it? |
Thank you! |
I've had mine for a year and not a single scratch. We are extremely messy and not careful at all. Maybe someone tried cleaning it with something abrasive? You definitely don't want to use abrasive sponges or cleaning agents on any type of flat glass cooktop. |
