I strongly disagree with her political ideology but at least she has some semblance of ethics and integrity, which is so sorely lacking in the remainder of the GOP.

It's not country over party. It's realignment of parties. I said this years ago on this board and was told I didn't know what I was talking about, however it's only gotten more clear. At a high level overview, it's war-loving neocon establishment (D) vs anti-war anti-establishment (R).

Actually, it's the party nominating an insurrectionist felon (R) vs. a career prosecutor (D). The Democrats are now the Law and Order party.

Cheney was horrified - like many of us - that Trump tried to overthrow our government. Why Trump supporting dipshits aren’t horrified is a mystery unless they simply hate liberals more than they love our country.

So, a simple but brave decision by Cheney. Support people like Harris and Walz who love the U.S. even if they have what you regard as misguided policies. Oppose Trump who will burn this country down if he perceives an ounce of gain for himself.
