Where does a 41 year old 5’2 matron of honor find a dress for a November wedding?!

Help! My mom is getting re-married in November and asked me to be her matron of honor. No other wedding party members, but I do have to give a speech, and she said “any old dress is fine”. She’s shown me the colors for her floral arrangements and I think a maroon/burgundy color will be the way to go.

I ordered a potpourri of dresses from Amazon and didn’t particularly like any of them. I’ve browsed in a few stores when out and about but feel like I’m looking for a needle in a haystack.

I’m 41, 130lbs, and 34dd. My kids will be in the wedding too. I don’t want to drop a lot of money on this one time worn dress but I’d also like to have a dress that is comfortable and stylish. Please help and thanks!!!

Why can't you buy a cocktail or evening dress - depending on the wedding time - that you can re-wear? I see some nice velvet dresses on the Anthropologie website.

Macys and Nordstrom have great options for formal dresses. I would start there and check Nordstrom rack. Lots of stores have homecoming and formal wear and you should have options.
