| Just spent $225 at The Cheesecake Factory for three people, which included three appetizers, two sodas, two main courses, and two slices of cheesecake. Honestly, it felt way overpriced. I could have gone to brunch at places like Liberty Tavern or Ambar for less money and gotten much better food with more generous portions. For what I paid, I expected a lot more, especially since The Cheesecake Factory is supposed to be a step above fast food, not a luxury dining experience. At this point, I really don't think it's worth it. What do others think? |
| No way. I don't believe it. Please itemize for us. |
| I guess that is why so many overpaid professional athletes eat there. |
| I mean, yeah? It's the cheesecake factory. I don't understand why you would have "expected a lot more." It's got a huge menu that works well for large groups with bland palates. And I suppose some people like the cheesecake but I've never ordered it. |
| I think you should check your bill again. Something seems off. |
Yeah, I got curious and looked at the Tysons menu online. Based on what OP claims to have ordered ... it probably would not be $225. Not even with ordering the more expensive things and tax and tip. |
| This is extremely difficult to believe. |
Post an itemized bill. We go to Cheesecake Factory regularly and this doesn’t make sense. |
| You’re lying, OP. |
| OP, that sounds high. Did you check the bill? Did you three order the most expensive food items? |
| What the heck did you guys order? The whole menu lol |
| That’s a lot of food for 3 people, especially with the huge serving sizes |
| Their portions are huge. If we ordered that many dishes for 3 people, we'd have taken half home and gotten 2 meals out of it. And we're not small eaters - but even my teenage DS on multiple sport teams can eat an appetizer as his main meal there. |

Given the portions at CF, that’s a huge amount of food! But anyway, let’s do the math.
I assume 225 is with tip. Let’s put that at a generous 25%. No tip: 180$ For three: 60$ each. For 3 appetizers (45-60), 2 main dishes (60-80), 2 cheesecakes (22-26), 2 sodas (11). So the range depending on dishes chosen could be from 140$ (if choosing cheapest item in each category) to 175$ choosing not the cheapest item. Plus tax. But seriously, for three people, unless these are teens, it’s a huge amount of food. |

Most expensive apps are $18 each
Entrees $28 each Cheesecake $12 each I can’t believe it was over $190 total. |
