The GOP wants no norms left at all. They want to prepare us for the brutal future they hope for, a true “keep sweet” nightmare. |
JD is the epitome of this. What a horrid litttle creature, with the beard(?) and even uglier without. |
She wasn't rude at the start. She became rude when she said she didn't want to be filmed and instead of turning off the camera like a socially normal person, he just said to have them blur her out. Creepy that a middle aged man is taking involuntary videos of a young woman; that's the weirdo. If he had just had them turn off the camera and tried to go somewhere else for his completely faked "just folksy" video she might have been more courteous to him. She was weird to the creepy man who was having a crew video her when she asked not to be. She couldn't leave because she was at her job, but I bed she wanted to just turn her back and leave him standing alone. |

It looks like Peter is ready to put that money into JD's waistband. That would definitely explain their relationship since Vance had no experience with venture capitol when Thiel plucked him up and moved him to Silicon Valley to do venture capitol work. Why would Thiel do that for Vance? |
+1 I wouldn’t react very politely either if some political campaign came in and kept filming me when I told them not to as I tried to work. And if the worker isn’t living under a rock, she knows exactly about JD “cat lady” Vance and Trump “pussy grabber, black jobs”. And doesn’t want to be the black window dressing in their campaign video |
And then the campaign didn't even blur her out at all. Later versions of the video were blurred, but not at first. So profoundly disrespectful. |
| This guy was interviewed on CNN and was told how the Teen USA kid who was mocked for her interview sank into depression after that went viral. When asked if he should not have linked to it last night or if he felt bad, he doubled down and said people should just learn to laugh at themselves. “It was just a joke”. He’s just a horrible human being. |

I think this stuff is bizarre.
Social skills (and eating donuts/cake) has not much to do with running our economy and keeping America safe and stable. We all know this know. I am a female. At work I want people to treat me like a man. Pay me like one too. I go home and I am female again. I literally tell people to have male expectations on me. |
You’re totally missing the point, which is that Harris acts like a normal human while with other people, and Vance does not. You need to be interacting with others like a normal human to run our economy and keep America safe and stable. |
Part of running for any office, including the highest offices in the land, is convincing people that you're human. That you have some humanity. That you identify with them and their struggles. He's failing at doing something that is extremely fundamental. There is currently no evidence about his ability to be a good executive, because his political experience consists of 2 years as a junior senator. So, we're essentially back to wondering if the guy even speaks human. |
