But every single dish he makes for dinner has some form of tomato in it — chopped, whole, peeled, cherry, heirloom, tomato sauce, tomato paste, tomato… you name it. Everything. Every time. He can’t imagine food without tomatoes. I would give my right arm to eat something that isn’t red. |

If he doesn't realize it and you hate it, wouldn't talking to him about it be a better strategy than being quietly miserable and then talking sh*t anonymously on the internet?
I for one would be DELIGHTED if my husband cooked enough to use that many different kinds of tomatoes in things. As it is, I make most of the meals and tomatoes feature in probably half of them, one way or another. |

Are you… Financially secure? Sexually compatible? Otherwise in good health? Controlling MIL? Kids not dabbling in drugs? If you answered yes to all the above Then keep up with the tomatoes . The worst that happens is kidney stones. And a diet of tomato soup as you recuperate. |

We used to rotate cooking, and I lived with my husband's meals for many years. He only cooks a very small number of dishes, and most of them aren't great.
So now the kids are high school and college-age, I cook my own food. I've lost all the extra weight I wanted to lose for years and I eat FAR healthier. |
You cook your food separately or take turns. |

me too - my lord does everything have to be life and death? can't we b**ch about too many tomatoes once or twice? my husband loves to use oregano. i hate oregano. he tries to sneak it into a sauce then is baffled when i say i can taste it and yes, i still hate it. i love him. but i wish he'd get over his oregano fixation. AND YES OF COURSE I COULD COOK MORE WHATEVER |
