So, I work in a public school. Today, every teacher received, in a sealed envelope, a bible verse written to them personally with a "have a great year" and signed from a local church.
I'm livid. It was in our mailboxes. The secretary must have agreed to let a parent do this. |
Those evil do-gooders. They should keep their joy to themselves. 😆 |
I would be annoyed but rather than complain, would probably immediately trash it. |
Just toss it and go about your day. |
That’s very nice! |
Do schools have an HR dept? I'd bring it up to them. Secretary should not be delivering religious messages from anyone. |
Yes, this is over the line. It's ok to complain. |
What school is this? I’d like to apply. |
No harm, no foul. |
I agree. |
What a beautiful gesture. |
School mailboxes are not the place for free advertising spam.
They can pay for a spot in the newspaper or yearbook. |
Our children's elementary school principal had a cross in her office as well as Bible verses in frames on the wall. |
Was anyone injured of killed by this card with nefarious writing on it? |
Freedom of speech is an incredible blessing! |
