Where is everyone feeling the sting of the budget cuts.
Our school doesn’t have tissues and won’t have copy paper until at least next week |

| Send some in. That sounds like a failure to order vs budget costs. Real budget cuts are preschool, autism program, trades program, and mva. |

| We don’t have tissues either. I really don’t want to buy too much this year. Last year I couldn’t even get staples for my stapler. We only have the paper left over from last year. So yeah. |

Sounds like the OP is a teacher. Are you expected to take in your own toilet paper to work while your boss wastes millions of dollars on useless garbage? |

This is where we need to prioritize. 29 in 1st. I think parents would gladly pay for an aide as in other districts, but MCPS won't allow it. Many would probably be open to a plan where parents pay for an aide for their school as well as for another less resourced school, but they won't allow that either. |

+1 There was a wish list by the teacher when my kids were in ES, and the parents would send stuff. My kids are in HS and college, FWIW. |

It's not new. My 16 yr old had that number when they were in Ker. |

Sure. And it wasn't good then or now with more disciplinary problems all around. |

Sounds like Wyngate when my kid was in K and there were upper grades in the dozen or so "learning cottage" trailers in the back. MCPS gives so much to so many, that is seems there are always budget shortfalls, even in non budget years. |
