DCUM sleuths were right. No prenup and date of separation listed as April 26, 2024.
https://amp.tmz.com/2024/08/20/jennifer-lopez...ffleck-file-divorce/ Jennifer Lopez has done what seemed inevitable -- she's filed for divorce from Ben Affleck ... TMZ has learned, but there are major twists, including the symbolism of when she finally decided to do it. J Lo filed legal docs Tuesday in L.A. County Superior Court, but they were not filed by a lawyer. Jennifer filed pro per, meaning by herself and without an attorney. She lists the date of separation as April 26, 2024. |
The couple got married in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022 ... however, today, August 20, is also very significant in Bennifer lore. This marks the 2nd anniversary of the huge, and more traditional, wedding ceremony they held in Georgia. So, it hardly seems like a coincidence Jen filed today.
Now here's the real shocker -- J Lo does not say in her docs whether there's a prenup, and sources with knowledge tell TMZ there is indeed no prenuptial agreement. |
Glad it's moving forward. I don't think the prenup matters. She's the far higher earner, and I don't think he'll go after any of her money. |
Soo they were definitely doing a tit for tactics back and forth. Remember he closed his house on her birthday |
Why did she make sure to file today before the 2 year anniversary if he isn’t after money? |
During* |
I think parading around buying Chanel bags for Violet during their Hamptons summer was a last resort to salvage or try to win Ben back.
I feel for her because the public embarrassment from this divorce in particular must sting. She put so much emphasis on Ben being her first and only true love |
Sheesh. Middle-aged, multiple marriages each and they still have the maturity of fleas. SO petty. |
Good for her! Now he can end his PR campaign of embarrassing her publically. |
I feel bad for her. |
I think so too. I think the kids tried one final time as well. Ben was not budging |
J Lo is proof that looks can’t keep a man |
I would feel awful for her if she hadn't been such a controlling narcissistic braggart about her "true love." If she had gone to ground and quietly focused on strengthening her marriage and respected her partner's desire for privacy. But she commodified their relationship, so I don't feel bad for her at all. Even if I think he should have left her alone to begin with. |
His cozying with Garner brought her over the edge. |
Never marry a gambler. |
