I’ll be found guilty, I normally do not. My reception/service is cut either way, so do we actually need to use airplane mode in this day and age? I don’t purchase wi-fi so that may be it but is anyone using airplane mode?
Nope. I will generally turn my phone off to save battery on longer flights but if I don’t I don’t use airplane mode. Never on my iPad which I use during flight
|
I usually do. I'm usually pretty thoughtful about my battery so this is part of that.
It's not to be a good citizen though. Sometimes I use cellular while taxiing. Which they let you do upon landing anyway... |
I usually shut my phone down to save the battery. But if there’s charging inflight, I will put airplane mode one and charge it.
I do. It probably doesn’t matter because there’s always been loads of idiots who don’t. I remember coming in to land at Heathrow and this guy’s phone rang. He answered and continued his conversation as we touched down.
Pointless really. You can turn off the cell service if you want to, but since most planes have wifi and everyone is using bluetooth, there's no point anymore.
Always.
Yeah, my phone essentially becomes a brick when I fly anyway so I may as well save the battery a bit.
Only for battery-saving purposes.
Yes.
Yes I do.
What would be the reason to leave it on?
I do. Phone and watch. I am a rule follower.
Yes..why wouldn't I do as asked in an AIRPLANE
Nope
