So Noah Lyles running in the Olympics on Day2 of Covid...impressive or jerk move?

He was running outside and masking while in the warm-up area. There are no Covid regulations for the spectators or athletes.
Impressive to run with Covid?
Jerk move or not at all?
If it was you, would you skip an Olympic race that you had trained for 4 years for? OR run anyway?

He could have worn a 95 type mask in the warm up area and other indoor area and taken it off outside. He instead wore a surgical mask losely inconsistently while inside.

Covid is rampant right now amongst the athletes. Lots of them have it and they are going to compete regardless unless they are too sick.

It isn't impressive he ran with covid. I could do that. It's impressive he got medaled with covid.

And of course he was going to compete. Anyone would in that situation.
