Good Divisional Hosts this year

only looking for positive vibes on this post

thought River Falls did a very nice job hosting the MCSL A divisionals yesterday

from a non-RF perspective and as a spectator only IMO: meet ran pretty smoothly, nice spots on grass for teams, parking and exiting were easy, RF folks helpful and pleasant, good selection on concessions

Overlee was awesome! The meet was very well organized, tee shirts were cool (per my 10 year old), their facilities are great in general, and their announcer was fun and fantastic! Hats off to them for hosting both Divisional Relays AND Individual Divisionals after the Tuckahoe reps threw their temper tantrum.

Mantua was great for Division 3.

We were at River Falls yesterday and I thought it was well-organized as well. I like that they have a playground next to the pool for the little kids to play.

Overlee was lovely yesterday. Nicest man working the snack bar second half of meet. Great viewing area.

Thought Damascus was great for Division E MCSL. Tons of parking and plenty of space on side of pool for all the teams.

My understand is that because they were only given 2 home meets the reps threw a fit and refused to host divisionals.

The league tries to balance out pools getting 2 or 3 home meets. If a pool has had 3 home meets in recent years they gave them 2 this year. Previous DC always gave them 3, but new one shook it up by only giving them 2.

Tuckahoe usually hosts divisionals because they have one of the fastest pools due to a high ledge that practically puts kids on starting blocks.

Kudos for Pleasant Valley for a well-run meet in D16!

Hunt Valley did a great job for D2. I was really impressed with how smoothly the meet went, even when it started pouring!
