De-bloating/slimming down in four weeks?

Anonymous
I am not overweight or looking to lose any weight, but I definitely hold on to bloat after not-so-great meals with alcohol. Last weekend we went out with friends and I swear, I’m still bloated from the event.

We just booked a spontaneous vacation, it’ll be pool/beach focused, and I’d like to de-bloat as much as possible before then.

Details: I do moderate cardio twice a day outside (run in the AM, bike in the PM) and sweat, 5 days a week.

Is there anything else I can do, other than upping water intake, watching sodium, and cutting carbs?

Eat watermelon, in all seriousness. It’s a natural and effective diuretic.

Good to know, thanks! Perfect time of year, too!

If heavy eating and alcohol make you bloat- just avoid those between now and your trip. It doesn’t seem like you need to do anything special.

I quit drinking and my bloat disappeared 100%. My stomach is flat like I’m in my 20s/30s again and I didn’t think that was possible at 56.

Wow, how much were you drinking? Was it all bloat or did you lose actual fat?

Intermittent fasting, stop eating 2-3 hours before bed, no alcohol, cut down on processed food
