Most of the kids have gotten/are getting a GED. Making grammar mistakes doesn't mean you're uneducated. |
Oh boy. I hope, for all involved, that they don't uncover anything else. |
It says they launching a full investigation into their home. I guess they didn't do a full investigation previously? I can't imagine there isn't a case file on the family already, didn't the police refer them for supervision by social services? |
Who said anything about grammar, Stannis? I just really doubt a mother with only a high school education herself is providing a rich educational homeschool experience for her eleventy billion children, all at once. |
Getting a GED doesn't mean you are educated. Really. Anyone with a pulse can get a GED. |

Can the poster who has the list of sponsors and websites please post it in the facts thread? I'm trying to get all the news and timelines up. |
PP wondered if the family is guilty of "educational neglect." They are working toward, and getting, a GED. What's the standard to show that your education is okay and not neglected? A BA? |
I saw an episode where they showed a 12 or 13 year old (James) really struggling with his multiplication tables. I wondered if he had a learning disability. That is really behind. |
I think a high school diploma is kind of the floor for that. GEDs are for prison inmates. |
Oh that WaPo link is fake. I saw it on facebook, too, but if you look at the address its a little off.
Too bad, they should investigate! But I imagine it would not be made public if they did. |
That's not a real WaPo link. |
I thought prison inmates were getting college dergrees while behind bars. |
The girls on Teen Mom struggle. |
Jessa was actually the one teaching the homeschool since Michelle can't bother to do anything but bang Jim Bob and count the few eggs she has left. I wonder who's running it now that they married her off. |
