Wow, this is just...wow. The entitlement in this post is staggering. WJ families are not entitled to anything more than other MCPS families. Wow. |
Are we entitled to longer bus rides than everyone else? |
What you may view as "entitlement", others may view as "advocacy" for their children and community. |
You know what? Keep this up. It looks awesome on you. |
Because you see everyone else gets to stay in the neighborhood schools (except for Chevy Chase). We don’t. Why is that? Clearly we hope they will choose options other than #3, but why should we be treated WORSE? Thats not entitlement. That’s standing up for yourself and your kids. 45 minute bus rides! That’s up to an hour and a half a day. |
You are just looking for our kids to be punished with long bus rides, for reasons I do not know. Not a good look for you PP. |
Are you being serious right now? Omg |
Kids don't deserve extra advantages based on how skilled their parents are at advocacy. (And honestly they generally already get advantages based on their parents' advocacy at an individual level... they definitely don't deserve the double benefit of getting better school assignments due to their parents' better advocacy. Triple benefit, honestly, because likely these families have a lot of other socioeconomic advantages over other kids to start with...) |
Huh? I guess I was wrong, you aren't just an entitled rich person with a savior complex, you are also unhinged |
+1 yep The notion that because WJ families generously allowed MCPS to direct our tax dollars to Woodward, they somehow deserve something in return? Vomit |
Sure, sure. Hardly. You probably don’t even live in down county. Do you think families won’t advocate against #3 because you will call them entitled? Sorry not sorry. |
Oh don't worry. If anything will secure the implementation of Option 3 it is your "advocacy". Keep it up! |
We’ll take that chance. |
Writing the same. |
One thing I do know is that if those who are opposed to option 3 do NOT speak up, MCPS will surely adopt it as we know that others are advocating in favor.
And you know what? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, to advocate for their kids and communities and so on. That’s the beauty of the First Anendment. |
