| Dr. James Simon in DC. He’s dedicated much of his career to menopause. Expert in the field . I pay out of pocket BUT he will sit with you as long as you want and teach you about menopause, explain things in ways you can understand, you can pepper him with questions. |

I’ve had hit or miss luck with that list. NAMS still likes to say it’s all in your head and you just need therapy bc midlife is stressful and no mental symptoms are related. There are docs in that list that think it’s only hot flashes and women with no periods at all that need treatment. Personally I think younger docs with more recent training are the best bet. |
