| Are kids still getting goody bags from birthday parties? I’ve heard from a friend that people have stopped giving them away at birthday parties. |
| Half and half for my preschool age parties. Do what seems easiest to you; no one seems to care. |
| Kids like a party favor, doesn’t need to be a goody bag. |
| Send them home with a treat. Cookie. |
| Depends on age I think. We did a themed cookie this year ( soccer). My kid just turned 12. |
It’s a pool party so I’m getting each child an inflatable Star Wars saber, so maybe that can be the party favor? |
It’s Star Wars theme |
| Goodie bag or single favor, almost always. |
I think that's perfect! |
| We always do a decorative bag with the birthday child's favorite candy in it for each party attendee. |
| No. Tacky. |
Please stop. No one needs more candy. And I say this as someone who isn’t crazy strict about my kids’ diets - they are definitely allowed candy. But they don’t need any after a birthday party that already had sugar. |
No. It makes the birthday kid happy and makes the kids attending happy. |
| Yes we do still do goody bags or a party favor. |
+1 one item (doesn't have to be expensive) rather than a bunch of tiny plastic things that immediately break -- this is way better. Or a cookie/treat as a takeaway. |
