Soft foods that aren't jello/pudding

Anonymous
I'm having a tooth extracted this week, and while I know all the usual soft foods (applesauce, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.), I was wondering if anyone had better savory options, or some ideas I hadn't thought of. I know there's also soup, but it's pretty hot and there's only so much gazpacho I can handle.

While a younger version of me, or any of my kids, would be happy to eat nothing but pudding and froyo all week, adult me would like something that actually tastes like a meal!

I think a thick lentil soup would be good. But yeah, it’s going to be a soup extravaganza.

Maybe plain Greek yogurt with some savory and finely diced toppings?

Softly scrambled eggs.

Slow cooked meat that falls off the bone.

Refried beans.

Meatballs (not too dense ones).
