Why don't men like wearing condoms or ask about STI when having hookups FWB or an app?

| Just wondering about the post here that said that a guy wanted to have sex with a woman who had herpes and she wasn't taking medication for it. So most cheaters have all kinds of sex with their other women including anal and I heard that these cheaters don't want to use condoms because it's difficult to have anal sex with a condom. Is this true or why would a man risk his health and his future dating prospects for just one night? |

The only reason I can see for this behavior is stupidity, up to and including a death wish.
Lack of critical thinking, inability to plan for a future they'll enjoy living, poor life skills in general. Maybe also that arrogant overconfidence that comes from sexism/male supremacy; a believe that they're above the rules and won't get caught or hurt. But that just distills back to stupidity, doesn't it? |

| I’m a woman on the apps and I can tell you that many men have performance issues when it comes to wearing a condom. It’s not negotiable to me though, so I’m selective and insist on testing if we go that route. |

| Most men don't care about consequences, to be frank. As a result I know many with kids from one night stands. Haven't met a ton with STIs but I wouldn't be surprised by that either. |

| They may already have Herpes or other STIs so they don’t care. Then the issue is they aren’t telling their bed partners about it. |

| Who said they don't? When I was a single guy in my late 20s, I always used condoms. Why would I want to risk an STD and/or 18 years of child support payments? And I think women took that as a positive. |

| Ummm- it’s women too. I found my ex banged a married woman first meet up with no condom. He said he didn’t expect it to go that far first meet and she was all over it. Hence, my ex. I was horrified. And, my god, people like that are obviously effing anything and everything that way. |

How old are you? I’m not having sea without a condom u less I’m married to the guy. I e dated guys ranging from twenties to fifties and have never encountered this issue when using condoms |

| If I’m guy told me he didn’t like using condoms, I would ditch him. Because that’s a pretty sure sign he probably has herpes or HPV or both, at a minimum. And that he is risk taking in a way that I don’t like. |

| Men who don’t wear condoms have sexual dysfunction. Men over 40 with full sexual functioning ability have no difficulties using condoms regularly. |

To be fair, of the women in those those situations I know one was a drug user and lost custody of 6 kids and the other (not verified) was very mentally ill. Again, anyone looks attractive for a one night stand. But you don't actually know who that person is and if they have the mental capacity to understand the consequences of their actions. |

Circumcision reduces sensitivity. This is a big problem as a man gets older. Wearing a condom on top of that means that they can’t climax in most cases, at least after a certain age.
Not sure why they don’t want to at least ask or test for STDs though. |

Not just men. Women on apps, even married women, are t asking for them. Many don’t want the men to use one.
It’s nothing like when AIDS was rampant and it was an automatic death sentence anymore. These people bareback all the time and the cheaters are putting their spouses at high risk. |
