Potomac “Wet Dreams” Party

Anonymous
It's amazing that the organizers were able to remain a mystery despite marketing and hosting a party that drew in 1,000 people. Clearly SOMEONE must know who's behind it.

It sounds like this "illegal drugs" stuff that they are going on about is that someone clutched pearls over smelling weed.

But if I lived in the area I would be furious. My first thought was that perhaps it is an airbnb or some kind of luxury verision of that and event planners got ahold of the property?

Isn’t this what Will Jawando wanted? To allow people to rent their pools for parties? Did they ever get passed? Seemed like a bad idea and the time and still a bad idea today, obviously.

I predict we are going to see more of this kind of thing thanks to the 'gram. This thing is all about people photographing/filming themselves at a "mansion party" and posting it.

Add a little sex trafficking into the mix, as well, probably.

The article mentions Air Bnb; totally the LA thing rearing its ugly head in Potomac.

You’ve really got your finger on the pulse.

And I’m sure you’re right. As soon as the ‘gram takes off after being founded 15 years ago, we’re really in for it.

I’m confused what the big deal is. If they break the noise ordinance you call the police.

It’s legal to have a party, it’s legal to smoke pot, it’s legal to drink alcohol.

What’s the problem?

That sounds like a great time. I’m definitely going and bringing my kids.

I thought bad things only happen in apartments in Silver Spring?

Looking at the photo accompanying the WET DREAMS party flier, I get it now.

MoCo police were called and lied to the complainants, saying they could not do anything.

Everyone knows that MoCo police are doing a work slowdown on purpose. Frankly, whomever didn’t do their job in MoCo police should be fired.
