The “Shortage” of weight loss drugs is created to keep demand high. Nothing else.

They can manufacture as much of this stuff as they want. It’s very cheap to manufacture. It’s called creating demand. Simple economics.

For Zepbound at least, it is not the medicine, it is keeping up with production of the injectors. There is no real shortage of zepbound in Canada because they allowed the meds to be sold without the injectors.

Dumbest post of the day. Congrats.

why are the injectors so hard to make? What do the Canadians so with the medicat without the injectors?

It’s the pens that are the limiting factor, but thanks for the economics lesson. Lol.

Vial + syringe

It’s super easy and effective to buy compounded medication. There is no shortage of that.

Why do people need drugs to lose weight? It's pretty simple math.

Why does someone with OCD wash her hands or check the locks 50 times a day? It’s simple not to.

So you're saying that people who need to lose weight have a mental illness?

No it's not.

As a 62 year old female who is only 4' 10" with genetics like crazy for diabetes losing weight is not just not eating and exercise.
That does not move the needle.

I just tried metformin it made me very sick so I stopped. But I am 40 lbs over weight and i have tried everything nothing works. It sucks. I know others are struggling way more than 40 lbs so I should not complain.

My doctor would not prescribe ozempric and I am miserable.

I didn’t say that (since the subject isn’t in fact “simple math”), but as long as we’re on the topic: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5525483/

NP. They definitely have an addiction to food. Addiction is a disease so it is an illness, mental and/or physical.
