any scoop about this tournament? Never heard of all these teams. |
Shhh don't let the gringos know about this. They might learn that soccer is a beautiful game not a money game |
Not for the non Hispanics.
They had this event last year at Publix Training grounds. The homeowners filed a complaint. It was crowed, hard fireworks and a money grab. You had to pay for parking each day and there was an entrance fee. |
They have awesome food. I go just to eat! |
DS did it last year. Aside from the parking situation it was awesome! |
Loved this! ![]() |
Signed a.... gringo. |
Where my DS sign up? |
Not a money grab? One of the only links that is filled in is to sign up for a 4 hour clinic for only $200! That is crazy money.
$600-$2000 for team entries is just under what regular tournament prices are. I get that it is for economically disadvantaged players, but the prices don't reflect that. This is latino Pay-to-Play. However, there are some coaches with good connections in the latino market (ECNL) and Central America. |
Latino players get scouted for Central American youth national teams. |
Nice tournament! Real ballers! Can’t wait. |
Team and leagues are irrelevant when serious talent is on display. It’s at the same location most of Jeff cup is at so not some church parking lot |
Biggest money grab. Registration fee is $800 and ref fee is an additional $100 per game.
Last year it was $20 per person per day and parking was also $20 per car. |
Incorrect. Let others enjoy. Sorry you did not get invited 😊 |
Has anyone received the schedule yet? |
