I'm in a rut. Do a lot of cardio (run and bike/spin, sometimes swim laps) but not nearly enough strength, core, etc. work.
I'd like to start sprinking in more regular studio classes so someone else can plan the routine/provide the motivation. Yoga is good but I need a workout oriented vs medidative class. Have not done Orange Theory because the idea of indoor treadmill running in a class setting seems so odd but would try it. Anything else? (Upper NW, Silver Spring, Bethesda .. all good) |
F45 resistance days (Tues/Thurs/Sunday). They also have hybrid days which are a mix of cardio/resistance.
OT has strength 50 once a week but their regular classes only have a tiny bit of weight training. Barely enough to make a difference unless you’re starting from zero. I do both but for building muscle F45 (and lifting on your own) is much better. Neither are great on core. |
