It was funny watching how everyone was collectively letting Jen have her moment with him. I went to my son’s Army graduation and trust me no one was doing stuff this precious. It is raw and emotional and awesome

I think they look ridiculous. I grew up in San Diego. I am sure half the people at that graduation were snickering at the line of people in cowboy hats, big belts and cowboy boots. Nothing screams I'm clueless to context like rolling into Southern California in full yeehaw LARPing attire. There’s something deeply embarrassing about going to a beach town graduation dressed like you're on the way to a Cabela’s opening and not even having the self awareness to consider how dumb it looks outside of Texas.

At least Jenn was dressed appropriately.

I follow Sydney on IG, and she was at a music festival. Based on her IG, I’m not sure all of Jen’s kids are “doing well.”

I’m a native Texan myself, and it’s absolutely normal to dress that way. As far as I’m concerned they were keeping it real. It would be fake if they had dressed any other way. If you troll on Brandon and Tina’s instagram you will see that they wear cowboy hats quite frequently. And I don’t think the lady next to Caleb is Brandon’s mom. In fact, I’m pretty sure that’s Jen’s mom.

Congratulations to the graduate. His family and friends really showed up for him. If you look at his post you will see that his buddies were all wearing cowboy hats as well. Representing the state they are from proudly. The most appropriate thing to do.
