+1 Same experience with Dem friends and they were calling and texting Northam telling him not to resign before the Fairfax news came out.

I mean I agree that Trump didn’t cause or create racism in the US. I think the point people are making though is that scandalous behavior no longer takes politicians down the way it used to. And we can thank Trumo for THAT.

You might be on to something. The poll that was conducted by the WaPo showed that a larger percentage of black individuals think Northam should continue his term than the percentage of white folks. Not by a huge margin, but still. I think we need to listen more, talk less.

I am black, and I think Northam should resign. NOT because of the pictures, but because of his weird responses to this crisis. He is fanning flames instead of putting out the fire.

I'm sure *someone* is investigating, but since no one is accused of a crime, I doubt its anyone in law enforcement. I don't think proving one of them is Northam would change much. He looks bad either way but its not enough for a resignation.
