Watch VDA closely and learn. McLean didn’t do anything to solidify its position when it was on top. VDA is working towards being able to host REAL, meaningful showcases locally. NSYSC and FVU don’t think this way….

Keep saying that, or you know maybe ready the rules. Here's the real reason, The next top 28 non-auto qualifying teams for Champions League, NA and Showcase Cup will play in the "U16-U17 Showcase Games". From the ECNL rule book itself...


U16-U17 Showcase Games = 28 teams
28 Teams, selected from any ECNL conference, will be provided an opportunity to compete in three Showcase games in Seattle during the ECNL National Championship Event
Teams that did not qualify for the Showcase Cup will be selected based on team interest and PPG in Conference Games only

Keep saying that, or you know maybe ready the rules. Here's the real reason, The next top 28 non-auto qualifying teams for Champions League, NA and Showcase Cup will play in the "U16-U17 Showcase Games". From the ECNL rule book itself...


U16-U17 Showcase Games = 28 teams
28 Teams, selected from any ECNL conference, will be provided an opportunity to compete in three Showcase games in Seattle during the ECNL National Championship Event
