Those civilian death figures are highly questionable. Hamas Health Ministry has been repeatedly caught grossly exaggerating the numbers. |
5/20,000 is pretty poor results |
Actual number likely 7,500/20,000 or thereabouts. |
I’m not sure it will send any sort of message. From what I have read, Hamas was expecting a massive retaliation because that is how Israel generally responds to aggression. |
The video of IDF soldiers reciting Shma Israel from a minbar of a mosque in Jenin is the best recruiting tool Hamas could dream of. The story writes itself. And the best thing is that it is totally self inflicted. |
IDF doesn't question them so why should you? |
This is the most common sense thing I have read about what is going on...and a few years ago it would not all have had to been said, but progressives have distored common sense. |
Lemmi see: we all know there are hostages in gaza (many men as many women and kids have been released). IDF saw a building with writing of SOS, HELP and HOSTAGES. Day after three young man with no visible weapons and bare chested walked toward them holding a white flag. Two were gunned down, the third ran into a building and was chased by israeli soldiers who shot him dead while he was pleading for his life in Hebrew. I dont think the death toll is exaggerated at all given this behavior |
Of course it will not be self-inflicted, these terrorist that you say are planning attacks now are acting out of their own free will. Everything is not always someone else's fault. |

Or you can, I dunno, not desecrate someone's place of worship? Just a thought, IDK. |
Let me summarize: IDF killed three unarmed Israelis waving a white flag because it mistook them for three unarmed Palestinians waving a white flag. Does that about sum it up? OK. |
The terrorist are still planning to be killers out of their own free will, no one is forcing them to do what they plan to do. |
Okay. Two things. 1. It is illogical to say "bad things happen and people get moved all the time" but conclude this with "Israel is here to stay". If things change and people move, they can change for Israel too. 2. "Everyone comes to an accommodation" not by hugs and kisses, but through restoration of rights. There is a reason Jews can reclaim stolen and compensated property in many places in Europe - because people acknowledged that what happened to them was unjust. They weren't told to just get over it. Israel restores pre-1948 property to Jews who can prove ownership. Not to Arabs, mind you. Never to Arabs. You come to an accommodation when the party that wronged you acknowledges the wrong and makes an effort to compensate for the wrong. "Get over it" is not an accommodation. 3. I find it terribly ironic when people parrot the line of "Palestinians were offered their own state on three different occasions!" but you press them for details and turns out they don't know crap about what was actually offered. |
LOL. I can just see the Hamas guards telling the remaining hostages - hey, don't walk toward your army waving a white flag. They have a strange reaction to that stuff. |
