The lawyers working for the defendants are at minimum $500/hr, if not double. So the legal defense fund will be mostly used for legal defense bills.

She’s already 38. And her first job was as a brand new ADA prosecuting people with parking tickets and she was fired after six months.

That’s pretty much what she claimed when she represented Mike Flynn. She has a type.

I thought perhaps the Powell and Chesebro speedy trial request was to try to catch the prosecution not being ready to move forward. I’m having trouble figuring out why they would do it, given the circumstances.
