The samba boys just fired their coach. They are breaking up 3 will stay syc 3 will join team America 3 will join dorados and the last 3 stayed in Dallas to join a local team there. All other SYC teams will have lowered team fees as they will no longer have subsidize the samba boys who were on financial aid.

What club you with, pal? Not SYC but I wanna know so our boys can beat yours like you owe us money. Who the fruck says stuff like this, or even thinks it?

Bethesda. Good luck.

Aka “definitely not Bethesda.”

Want proof the SYC coaches are sexist? They go away when their boys lose, but they're not on here hyping up the girls who won.

They went out and handled their business with no hoopla or fake promotional hype. But that what you expect if you compare the class act of Bethesda to the boyz from Springfield

The question is, why did they take so many guest players? Hahaha, the BETHESDA YOUNG GENTLEMEN couldn't play a national tournament with their regular kids? I guess if you can't beat SYC with the regular line up, you call up players from other clubs for a major tournament. By the way, the top SYC Samba Boyz beat Bethesda's top team 10-1. Good luck to both teams in the tournament though, the kids are not to blame for all the ignorant parents here.

Maybe not all the families of the regular players wanted to spend thousands to travel to a summer tournament because, I don’t know, these are 9 year olds?

In any event this is all rich coming from a club that uses guest players for major games and tourneys more than any other club we see in the DMV.

Bruh, the Salsa Sistaz (SYC Girls Blue same age group) took a guest player from Richmond. SYC guilty too bruh.

That was my point - SYC does this more than any team we see in the DMV, at least on boys side, whether MLSNext or major tournament play. The results vary immensely when they do not have double- or triple-rostered players popping in for games. Everybody who sees their teams more than two or three times a year knows exactly what is going on there.

Have never seen bsc u9 use a guest player. Did anyone actually see this in Dallas?

Yes, Bethesda 100% used guest players for the tournament. I was there and know for a fact that two of the kids currently play on another team and am pretty sure a 3rd.

^-- and is this a problem or something? SYC does this all the time.

I'm not saying it's a problem and don't care if Bethesda or any other team does this for tournaments. I'm simply saying they used at least 2 and maybe more players that are not on their current team. If people are going to say how good a team is it's a factor to realize they brought in guest players and I know the two played almost the entire time we watched. Once again, there is nothing wrong or unethical there, BUT they didn't win with their current team.

You mean a team from another club? Makes no sense to use guest players from bethesda since they are the top team so players would be on lower teams. Seeing they only have about 9-10 players on their team total which is not alot for 7v7 . Their goalie was not in the pictures on facebook. These could be some reasons.

Yes, from another club outside of Bethesda. I don't have a problem with it at all and my son guest plays all the time, but think it's something to consider for those saying how great the team is right now. By the way, they are 9u. We were there guest playing in an older group and my younger son, who is 9u and was not playing, knows two of the kids who guest played. Don't care either way and I'm sure a ton of other teams did the same.

Well looks like BSC made the right call not asking and mamba boys to play with their championship team. Those boys stink. Time to create new birth certificates for the boys.

Except I'm not with SYC. Just tired of your nonstop posts going nowhere. You should just leave the club. There are too many for you to be this bitter.

Who is the coach ? What has he done with previous teams? Is he about development or winning more? If his boys are actually that good. The club needs to take the better kids and place them an age up to help them develop and be content with just winning a a level that doesn't help them get better.

Hi. We followed so many LMVSC families to SYC. We’ve left SYC but I’m not without the understanding of what SYC coaches have done on the forum. LMVSC has dealt with it for a year, you can too.
