Let’s see… 11th out of 13 possible places in MLS Next. Two wins, seven losses, three ties. Eight goals scored, shut out EIGHT times in twelve games.

Mi son played under this Technocal Director and all they did at training was play. Then come games, same starting lineup, same formation, relied on who was the fasted runner and who could kick the hardest.

That’s not true. You forget about yelling at referees, blaming the players and whatever else he did

How do you take a State Cup champion team, gain a lot of good players, and then get ranked lower than the 2nd team in your age group?

I completely agree with you. The technical director is kind of lazy. However, the club doesn't have a specific coaching format, each coach does their own thing. The 2007 is not the original SYC 2007 team either.

2006 WC: final four all UEFA
2010 WC: 1-3 UEFA, Uruguay
2014 WC: Germany, Argentina, Netherlands, Brazil
2018 WC: final four all UEFA

The “best” non-UEFA did in past four World Cups was Argentina’s golden generation losing final and Brazil bowing out final two games with a combined scoreline of 1-10. Street football.

It’s coached by the technical director and they can’t score goals

What does that mean the "original"? I thought you try out every yr and teams a formed based off of that.

Not much to see. You know we're talking about a bunch of 2nd and 3rd graders, right?

ST should be coaching the 2007 boys. It’s pretty clear that his MLS Next team gets the results.

We'll see this year. The 2008s had a lot of teams who were also new to MLS Next and did pretty well there, however they did poorly against academy teams...

Why the hell are people talking about Brazil, South America, etc? This team/club has NO relation to any of that. Terms like “Samba” and “Joga” are just being culturally appropriated. No link to Fluminese or anything!

Yeah, so long as he can use players rostered at other clubs. A whole different story when he had not been able to use guest or part-time players.

And you obviously have never seen the Bolivian League kids. Do a search in DCUM!

If you want to see SYC’s style of play, check out their 2007 MLS Next team. This is the team coached by the technical director and assisted by MLS Next Academy Director.

This one is funny. Armour plays a great ball and has a great finish, then Technical Director EM screams “at least two yards offsides!!” He was at about one yard onside. Wow he really screams a lot and tells his plays what to do.
