I like Glennon okay... I also like Brene okay and listen to Brandi Carlile occasionally... but as an Asian woman sometimes she gives me very "progressive white loud woman who will talk over you to be more popular" vibes.

I agree with you and she has lost her appeal to me. I think she is desperate to be famous and very calculating. She has also become everything she criticized. She talks about "white privilege" yet she uses her connections with celebrities to help her daughter have a signing career. Does she think her son would be at Harvard without her privilege? There are countless part and fully Asian students who are over-qualified to be there who get rejected, but all you need is connections to Glennon and Abby and the doors open. Does her heart ache for less privileged students who don't have those same opportunities? She threw her ex under the bus to sell books. She became famous over-sharing the lives of her children and claims she didn't know better then? Really? She seems like a bright and supposedly empathetic woman and it never occurred to her she was showing complete lack o boundaries? She is a complete mess over black lives matter and needing to hold special meetings online with her fans, but Jewish babies get beheaded and children kidnapped and perhaps she had to go check her donor list for Jewish names to see if she cared or not.

So the woman who claims to be against white privilege, oppression, violence, the patriarchy etc...

*Promotes her daughter signing career. If she did not have a connection to Brandie Carlile would her daughter get all these opportunities?

*Took forever to react to October 7th and then was wishywashy because you know...me too unless you are a Jew! Then she calls for a Ceasefire because she is some great expert and says nothing when Hamas breaks the ceasefire.

*Blames the patriarchy for just about everything including women's body issues, yet she rose to fame as a blonde waif "sage" telling women to take up space while she was in complete denial about her own anorexia...trying to take up as little space as possible? She was anorexic while married to Abby. What man pushed her into this disease? Her ex-husband, who she obliterated in her books seems to be nothing but mature and supportive when he speaks about her.

*She speaks out against just about every injustice she can think of, but is surprisingly vague when it comes to antisemitism.

*I am usually not a fan of cancel culture, but I think she is a pseudo woke, fraud who is dangerous to vulnerable women preaching as though she is whole when she is clearly broken and has a lot of work to do. Before she blames the patriarchy for what is happening to women perhaps she needs to look at her own hypocrisy.
