Yes, so disgusting. |
Courtney wants to be famous. She has always wanted to be famous. What’s the best and easiest way to get in name in the media. By harping on something that happened 10 yrs ago but someone who is now famous. Truth. |
Yeah that’s it.
|
Chrissy was already famous 10 years ago. |
|
So 11 years ago Chrissy was featured in 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Arguably one of the heights of any modeling career.
Yet Chrissy felt so insecure that she had to go to some teenager who she didnt' know and encourage her to "take a dirt nap?" https://swimsuit.si.com/swimsuit/model/christine-teigen-2010-sports-illustrated-swimsuit-edition-si-com |

Someone keeps asking why CT went after people.
Because she was insecure and drunk and spent her time in an industry that is mean and superficial. |
Also I don’t really care about Courtney’s motivations. They don’t change what Chrissy did. This is about Chrissy and her actions. |
But this is true of tons of people who don’t encourage others to take their lives. |
| Is she still allegedly a drunk? |
Actually Twitter was a dumpster fire. People keep getting canceled for their past tweets. |
She really wasn’t. She wasn’t nowhere as popular as she is now. |
This and to add, people on DCUM really have no idea how bad Twitter used to be. Just look at all the tweets resurfacing once someone is big enough/famous enough/etc that they can be canceled. |

What is interesting to me is that people are struggling to square these comments CT made with what they believe to be CT’s “real” character.
This is her real character. I am certain this is not the only time she has said ugly things about another woman for no reason at all. This is part of who she is, and not an abberation. She is also probably a loving mom and wife with a good sense of humor who would be fun to hang out with. That’s also the “real” her. I know many women like this. They have great qualities and are very likeable. They present a really appealing face on social media. And they also sometimes viciously attack other women (though largely in private, the aberration here is that CT did this publicly) for what feels like no reason. It’s really not uncommon. In fact, I think DCUM satisfies that need for a lot of women. They come on here, say awful judgmental things about women based on their looks, social status, marriages, and parenting, and then go back to their lives where people talk about how sweet and fun and great they are. I have no idea what causes this behavior, but it surprises me how many people are having trouble identifying it. I can think of at least four women from my life who are like this (including my mom) and that’s without even trying that hard. |
Why is this relevant at all? Chrissy is the mother to a daughter now, maybe she can finally see how gross her past behavior was. Courtney is the victim and her timing and motives don't matter given how horribly she was treated. |
I’ve been on Twitter since it first became popular. I don’t recall ever seeing many tweets encouraging others to kill themselves. And the nastiest tweets are almost always from anonymous randos. This has never been normal or acceptable behavior even on Twitter. |
