| What’s the vibe at SR for BIPOC? Anything seem better or worse since this chat? |
| Our DD went to SR for ninth grade and frankly hated it. They basically favor strong athletes, families with big wallets, and the 2% they see going to an Ivy. The very first mailing we received was a plea for donations and it didn't stop. It was also so crowded that a percentage of girls had to each lunch sitting on the floor. Our DD was a very good student but staying there was not going to serve her interests so we transferred. The hype (and cost) didn't match up to the reality for our family. |
The new Mater Center solves any issues that may have existed for lunch in the past. The building is stunning and there should be no shortage of seats. |
| Now if only they would give me more than 15 minutes for lunch. It's absurd. |
