She is SERIOUSLY MENTALLY ILL. There is NO WAY that this conservatorship is frivolous, with the eyes of the freaking world on this court.

Having a fair bit of experience in the field of law at issue, I have zero concern that she isn’t being protected by the system. The very fact that movies like this are out, and a whole fan movement, and her repeated opportunities to challenge aspects of the conservatorship in court, all points to her being free to speak out without fear.

I can guess at what her diagnoses are, but certainly they are not inconsequential by any means. I wish her healing and am deeply sorry for her that so many people who consider themselves her fans that care about her are actually feeding into her paranoia and fueling her disease with the whole ‘free Brittney’ thing.

I’m sorry, but having watched two judges let alleged insurrectionists go on vacation internationally while they’re out on bail, I don’t have quite the same faith in the legal system that you have.

I was friends with, knew or hung out with a lot of these celebrities mentioned in this thread back in the day. So many, this thread is trip down memory lane. The stories I could tell but I won’t.

But I will say this: Britney was crazy then. Legit mentally ill. She was late teens and was completely out of control. Justin would bitch about how crazy she was constantly. She got some *unusual* piercings one night and he was ticked. He also was cheating on her hard core with a different girl or two every night. I witnessed this on many occasions until he dated Cameron then he behaved himself for a while.

But the way he acted all wounded and victimized with his Cry Me A River video was pure manipulation for exposure. Britney made Justin. JC was the talent. As far as celebs, he is the biggest jerk I ever met. For the record, Britney is just as she seems, sweet, genuine, simple, insecure, unstable and damaged.

Back then she was so gorgeous, it made you uncomfortable to stand next to her. But if she did not have that conservatorship, she would be dead y’all. Dead. She would’ve joined the 27 club long ago.

Because I am still good friends with some celebrities and I like to keep my friends. Since I don’t see or even know Justin or Britney anymore and have not seen them in 25 years, I don’t mind giving my decades old insight on this particular topic.
