You need a source for real? Pugh and Lavelle for one example. Two of the shortest on the uswnt roster. Bottom 10% of team in height at 5’4”. Agree so far? Both are often injured right? Limited minutes, frequently not starting games but brought in second half for a spark...still agree? Just watch the sport. |
So, you're the source. Gotcha. |
| Oh boy. De Nile is not just a river in Africa folks |
Almost ever single study shows that taller people are more injury prone. |
its crazy. there are u15/16 goalies way over 5ft 10 |
Girls mature faster. Most are done growing by 16 |
Yikes, based on what he said, a U15 is 14, over 5-10 and still has two years of growth left
|
Maybe. Its an average. I've seen 5'6 10 year olds who didn't grow another inch. I've seen a 5'3 girl grow 3 inches in a year at 16. In general, most are tapped out at 16. Thats why its easier to recruit them earlier. |
College recruiters will love that |
| i doubt a u15 is over 5-10 like the pp said. where is a girl six ft in mid-atl soccer? |
I know of one U17 team that has four kids over 6 foot. There are plenty of 5'10 kids. |
Which team? The PP was talking U15 as well |
What even is this? What about William and Mary? You think ODU is better? |
When people say top 50 school do they mean top 50 soccer-wise? Or top 50 school ranking academically? |
Top 100 NCAA athletic rankings. No, I dont think ODU is better academically. Athletically, yes. |
