He's black. |

There is a petition to replace the confederate monument in Anderson SC with a Chadwick Boseman memorial. He did such good work with kids with cancer, it seems like a nice way to remember him in his hometown.

Just ask him to do a FOBT test. Much less invasive. Cancer is scary. Denial is scary too. |
It’s totally early detectable, not preventable. Also don’t smoke. That helps too. |
I am as well.

I wonder if younger people could do the stool sample kits? Some sort of checking. |
| God bless him + his family. This is a D.C.U.M. record. Everyone had only kind words for him + his memory. His big break it did not come until 2013 which means he spent 4 of the last 7 years battling cancer while hitting the big time out of the park. His death is a symbol for now bad 2020 has been. |

This one hit me hard. I guess because my husband is 43, with an unrelated disease.
Mr. Boseman was a class act. I’ve been in tears all day. |
Five years ago at age 37 I got a colonoscopy because I was having IBS type symptoms. Turns out I had 4 precancerous polyps. I am a white woman. The dr said it was rare as older black men tend to be the most diagnosed. I had no idea they were there and thank heavens I just happen to have the screening. Otherwise I'm positive I'd have full blown colon cancer now. Given all the processed unhealthy food we're eating nowadays it is not surprising younger people are getting it. |
| Also meant to add the dr said there is a possible correlation between Vitamin D deficiency and colon cancer |
Gosh I should get a check up. I’ve been having IBS symptoms for month. |
So docs can distinguish polyps that are precancerous from those that are benign? |
| Wakanda kids |
Yes, via biopsy. |
