Not really my style but kind of similar to Laura (Which I love, by the way, and think you should use! I have 2 Young kids and have never met a child or baby Laura) and probably less popular: Lorelei

I haven’t heard of any babies or kids named Laura. the youngest Laura I know is 35+. And we know a lot of kids! I think you would be wrong to forgo a name you love based on one anonymous person’s observation that it’s “getting used a lot recently” which could mean they’ve met 2 10 year olds with that name for all you know. People exaggerate all the time.

I have a Mira - chose the name years ago and, while SSA will tell you it's getting trendier, we've only met one other child in our DMV area with the same name.
