Alena (nn Lee) my Mother’s name and I haven’t met another. I would use it but we have all boys.

We also have a Louisa named a few years ago when it was in the 900s on the SS list, and have been surprised to meet quite a few (maybe 5-6?) Louisas in this area including 3+ at her school. Still love it, and it's not as common nationally.

Really like Marie, Rosalie/Rosemary (Rosie), Molly, Allison, Lila, Laura, Jill, Jane, Elaine (Laney).

Are you joking? Isabel is a lovely name but when you combine all the different spellings, it’s practically #1 in the country.

Why would you want your kid to have a popular name?

Familiar, easy to spell, trendy. Why wouldn’t you? Never understood this “must find obscure name” thing — that sort of thinking begins the “precious little snowflake” mentality.
