Official Michael Bloomberg Thread

If Bloomberg seriously wants to stop Trump at all cost and he also honestly believes than Sanders can't beat Trump - he should drop out of the race and offer a one billion dollar gift to the Biden campaign.

I’m not sure beating Trump is Bloomberg’s goal !

Bloomberg's goal is defeating Bernie, not Trump. Bernie's central goal is to get the wealthy elites to stop buying influence in politics. We now have two of Bloomberg's surrogates on the rules committee of the DNC. How convenient for Mike. Mike also donated almost a million dollars to the DNC. One step closer to buying the presidency. Let's not forget Bloomberg was a Republican not long ago.

We are not a democracy when the wealthy, corporations, lobbyists and PACs buy influence over congress. The only influence should be constituent' voices. Gun control is a case in point. Nothing gets passed despite popular support for change. Meanwhile, children in the richest country in the world have to fear being killed at school. The only way this will stop is if we stop/curb the influence of moneyed elites. I like Mayor Pete but can't support him because of the donations he's taken. This is why Bernie is such a threat to the democratic establishment. They want the big donations to keep coming and don't care that we don't make progress as a nation.

Bloomberg got in to stop Warren and ended up helping Sanders. The Democratic establishment never thought Bernie could win but they were afraid of Warren. When they went after Warren, her drop allowed Sanders to consolidate the left wing.

Good point. Bernie and Eliz pose the same threat. Which is why I support them both. But Bernie has the groundswell of support so seems the most able to beat Trump.

Bloomberg's campaign offices have been vandalized, being spray painted with phrases such as "oligarch" and "corporate pig"

Report: Bloomberg reached out to Yang to be his VP

If true, that will be a good move.

Yang won’t be his Vp.

It’ll be a minority woman.

Yang would be a great surrogate for Bloomberg and in return Bloomberg would help set up yang to be the next nyc mayor
